LELO Hugo 2 is the app-controlled successor to the LELO Hugo. LELO describes it as an app-connected prostate massager with two motors, one in the tip and one in the base, and ten settings of which six are unlocked in the LELO app. This page covers the “2” model only; LELO still lists the original Hugo as a separate product, and nothing on the Hugo 2 page states that the new model replaces it.

Venus has not physically tested this product. This review is based on LELO’s official Hugo 2 product page and its published specification block, checked on 12 October 2026. Where LELO does not document something clearly, this page says so rather than filling the gap.

Quick Verdict

Hugo 2 is the pick for buyers who want a LELO prostate massager with app control and can do without a remote. The specification block is complete, from materials and dimensions to runtime, noise ceiling, waterproofing and warranty. At 179 EUR it is the cheapest of the three LELO prostate massagers, and it was in stock at LELO when checked, which the original Hugo was not. The caveats are the one-hour documented runtime, the six settings that need the app, and the usual warning that an insertable anal device is not a first toy.

Format and Who It Is For

Hugo 2 is a two-armed prostate massager. The insertable arm is documented at 72 mm of insertable length and carries one motor in its tip; the second arm stays outside the body against the perineum and holds the other motor in the base, the single button and the metal-capped end. Unlike the original Hugo’s page, LELO states no diameter for the insertable arm.

That external arm is also the safety feature. Anything used anally needs a part that cannot pass fully inside the body, and on Hugo 2 the perineum arm and base are the retrieval handle; the device should never be inserted beyond the point where they rest against the body. LELO’s own how-to steps start with a generous amount of its Personal Moisturizer before slow insertion, and water-based lubricant is the conservative default on a silicone surface.

Control is the one button plus the LELO app over Bluetooth on iOS and Android; four settings work from the button, the other six need the phone. No remote is documented.

Documented Specifications

LELO’s specification block lists body-safe silicone and ABS plastic with a smooth finish, 104 x 107 x 41 mm, a 72 mm insertable length and 121 g.

Power is a lithium-ion 420 mAh 3.7 V cell, charged in up to two hours at 5.0 V and 500 mA, for up to one hour of user time and 90 days of standby. LELO’s copy promises prolonged battery life; the specification block says one hour, which is the figure used here. The two motors are documented at 130 Hz and 108 Hz, the device switches off automatically after 20 minutes, the maximum noise level is under 60 dB and the interface is one button.

The feature copy adds ten settings, four by default and six more in the LELO app, extra-soft silicone and ISO 3533 safety assurance. LELO does not split the ten settings into intensity levels and patterns, so this page records ten settings and nothing more precise.

Materials, Waterproofing and Cleaning

LELO marks Hugo 2 as 100% waterproof and suitable for the bath and shower, so cleaning is straightforward: rinse the whole device under running water with mild soap, then dry it fully before storage. For an anal device, clean before and after every use and check the silicone surface for damage first. LELO states ISO 3533 certification for body-safe materials, a useful signal for a product intended for anal contact. No IP rating is published beyond the “100% waterproof” statement, and water-based lubricant is the conservative default unless LELO’s instructions say otherwise.

Battery and Warranty

The two-hour charge gives a documented one hour of use, with 90 days of standby and an automatic switch-off after 20 minutes. LELO documents a two-year warranty from the purchase date, with a free replacement if a problem occurs in that time, followed by a ten-year quality guarantee after the two-year warranty expires. Keep the receipt; LELO’s warranty text asks for it.

In the Catalogue

Hugo 2 vs. the LELO Hugo

The LELO Hugo shares Hugo 2’s 104 x 107 x 41 mm footprint, 72 mm insertable length and 420 mAh battery, and weighs 116 g against 121 g. The documented differences run both ways: the Hugo’s page lists two hours of user time and a 50 dB noise ceiling where Hugo 2 lists one hour and under 60 dB; the Hugo has a motion-sensitive SenseMotion remote and no documented app, while Hugo 2 has the app, two motors and ten settings against the six recorded in the catalogue’s Hugo review, and no documented remote. Hugo 2 is 10 EUR cheaper at 179 EUR and was in stock when checked; the Hugo was sold out at LELO when its review was checked.

Hugo 2 vs. the Loki Wave 2

The LELO Loki Wave 2 is the larger device: 91 x 42 x 196 mm, a 100 mm insertable length and 196 g against Hugo 2’s 72 mm and 121 g. Its WaveMotion tip moves in a finger-like motion on top of vibration from two motors, it has twelve settings on a five-button handle, its 850 mAh battery gives two hours of use, and it documents no app or remote. Hugo 2 answers with app control, a shorter insertable arm, the same under-60 dB ceiling and a 40 EUR lower list price. Choose the Loki Wave 2 for a moving tip and a longer insertion, Hugo 2 for a compact, app-controlled vibrating massager.

Hugo 2 among the LELO range

Within LELO, Hugo 2 joins the Hugo and the Loki Wave 2 as the prostate options; the Tor 3 is the couples’ ring, and the full line-up is on the LELO reviews hub. Outside LELO, the We-Vibe Vector+ is the catalogue’s only other prostate massager and the only one with button, remote and app control together, at 139 EUR, though its published spec sheet is thinner. The category is compared on the best prostate massagers page. At its price Hugo 2 also sits in the premium picks tier, and the catalogue-wide ranking is in best vibrators 2026.

Value Position

At a 179 EUR manufacturer list price, with no discount shown in the page data when we checked, Hugo 2 is the cheapest LELO prostate massager in the catalogue and 40 EUR more than the We-Vibe Vector+. The extra money buys documentation: weight, insertable length, noise ceiling and waterproofing are all published, which the Vector+ page does not match. The trade-offs are specific: the one-hour documented runtime is the shortest of the four, and six of the ten settings need the app. Buyers who want a remote should look at the Hugo or the Vector+; buyers who want a moving tip should look at the Loki Wave 2; buyers unsure about anal toys altogether should start elsewhere in the catalogue.

Pros

  • Documented app control over Bluetooth (iOS and Android) with 10 settings: 4 on the device and 6 more unlocked in the LELO app
  • Two motors, one in the tip and one in the base, each with a documented frequency (130 Hz and 108 Hz)
  • Complete spec block: body-safe silicone and ABS, 104 x 107 x 41 mm, 72 mm insertable length, 121 g, 100% waterproof, ISO 3533
  • 179 EUR list price, in stock at LELO when checked, with a 2-year warranty plus a 10-year quality guarantee

Cons

  • Documented user time is only up to 1 hour from a 2-hour charge, half the figure LELO published for the original Hugo and the Loki Wave 2
  • Noise is documented only as a ceiling of under 60 dB, against the 50 dB figure on the original Hugo's page
  • Six of the ten settings require the app; the device itself has a single button and no remote is documented
  • An insertable anal-use format with a 72 mm insertable length; lubricant, slow insertion and thorough cleaning matter, and it is not a first toy
